the rooftop terrace has fine views of the sunset over the city. noise travels easily at night.

The rooftop terraces offer a cozy retreat. The breakfast was a standout, beautifully presented and plentiful.
There's a noticeable lack of sound insulation. I was able to hear conversations and alarms from neighboring rooms. The lack of a shower curtain caused some overspray issues, and the tiles in one area of the room felt poorly fastened to the floor, which detracted from the comfort. And to secure the entry to the room myself may have hindered daily access for upkeep, meaning the room wasn't refreshed . Lastly, being cash-only isn't ideal-especially when the ATMs can be unreliable.

Riad Dar Mayssane really captured my heart. I found a peaceful retreat amid the vibrant medina. The staff greeted me warmly with a refreshing drink and some tasty biscuits, setting a lovely tone for my stay. I stayed in the La Belle Endormie Room with a gorgeous private outdoor seating area and an excellent bathroom with a clawfoot tub. The intricate tile work and stained glass added a touch of beauty. Every morning, breakfast impressed me with plenty of fresh yogurt, eggs cooked to order, and a good assortment of breads and pastries. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace was a lovely way to start my day. I also appreciated the multiple rooftop terraces. They provided a great spot to relax with a book, even if the lounge cushions had seen better days. I had some minor inconveniences, like the lack of daily room refreshment, noticeable after two nights. I had to secure the entry to my room with a padlock. The absence of air conditioning could be a drawback in the summer, but I managed well with open windows in early fall. Communication was a bit tricky since English wasn't commonly spoken, but I made it work. The ambiance and staff create a charming atmosphere that makes you feel at home.

The location in the medina offers easy access to local attractions, with a charming atmosphere that transports you to another era. Breakfast was superb, with freshly made dishes, including eggs made to order and delicious yogurt. The lack of daily room refreshment was noticeable, and I encountered some challenges accessing my room due to the secured entry. While the rooftop terraces provided a pleasant retreat, the lounging cushions could use some maintenance.

Staying here was amazing! My friends and I loved the beautiful terraces for lounging around. The breakfast spread was plentiful and beautifully presented. We explored the medina and visited the Kasbah of the Udayas, all within walking distance. The staff were very cute and provided a great atmosphere.
One downside was that room cleaning was inconsistent . We could have used a little more attention to details like bed making and trash removal.
